Publications

Research you can check

Our publications follow one rule: every claim carries a reference. We publish research, guides, and public templates as open documents, because a community interest company that asks for trust must show its sources.

When we read a study on your behalf, we ask three questions before we pass it on:

  • Who funded it? Funding does not automatically invalidate research, but it shifts the burden of proof and must be disclosed.
  • How was it designed? The sample, the definitions of outcomes, and the methodology itself can quietly predetermine the conclusion.
  • Has it been replicated? An independent repetition of the result is the only real confirmation.

What we publish

  • Open-source research and reports — thorough, referenced, and honest about what is not yet known.
  • Public templates — letters and documents citizens can copy and use in their own dealings with public bodies.
  • Educational material — supporting the professional education of young people in Aberdeen, with open tools and open hardware such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
  • Pro-civic competition documentation — rules, results, and lessons from competitions that reward community-minded technical work.

Scotland is included in our research wherever the data allows; where Scottish data is unavailable, we say so plainly.
