SC897944): a Community Interest Company limited by guarantee, with an asset lock and no dividends.<\/li>\n<li><strong>October 2026<\/strong> &mdash; the public website is live: a fully custom, openly-built theme with a 3D night sky, a square tile index and a centre reading window, designed to WCAG AA accessibility with reduced-motion respected throughout.<\/li>\n<li><strong>October 2026<\/strong> &mdash; a private cloud workspace is running for documents and project files, alongside the technical department foundations: the register of open solutions, local talents and cooperatives for the Aberdeen area.<\/li>\n<li><strong>In progress<\/strong> &mdash; the data protection and privacy policy aligned with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018; the first technical projects in robotics, drones and microelectronics; the sandbox testing environment for the website.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Next<\/strong> &mdash; the first pro-civic competitions for young people aged 16&ndash;25, pilot workshops on open source and local AI with Aberdeen businesses, and the foundations of the first youth cooperatives under the CIC umbrella.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How the company works<\/h2>\n<p>The CIC operates like a kernel: the founder provides free advisory only, and independent cooperative projects grow around the company, self-governed and decided at general assemblies.
